Sterndale is conveniently situated for visiting Buxton's many attractions including: Poole’s Cavern, Go Ape, museums, miniature railway, the lovely Georgian Crescent, the recently restored Pavilion Gardens, the dome of the Devonshire Spa and the famous St. Anne's Well - where you can drink and fill bottles with pure Buxton Spring Water.

A park containing children's play area is 50 metres from Sterndale.
There are over twenty eating establishments within a quarter of a mile of the house. With plenty to choose from nobody should be disappointed.
